Below is a glimpse into Alicia’s journey to achieving a well balanced body and clear skin through eating a clean diet.

“I have been a raw vegan for about two years now, and am loving every second of it! My energy level has been very high and never a dull day since. My stomach problems are now gone for good! IBS, indigestion, bloating, gastric instantly disappeared weeks after going raw. It was and still is an amazing feeling to be able to wake up each and everyday feeling light and energetic and full of life! It has helped me see improvement on my skin and increase metabolism. This is me, no filters, no concealer, no face powder or foundation. Just pure healthy, breathable skin. The only daily makeup I use is for my brows, mascara and lipstick. That is it! Eating raw foods really helped me get through my mid 30’s with great ease and packed with so much energy to do the things I love!”

“I always believe in beauty from within. It is important to eat the right foods in order for your skin (largest organ in our body) to glow.

This is my “Anti-Aging Smoothie” recipe which consist of avocados- aid in anti aging and moisturize your skin. Avocados have excellent skin moisturizing properties, antioxidants (anti-aging) and vitamin E (skin antioxidant).

Each of the below ingredients are high in antioxidants and omega-3:

– Half avocado
– 4 to 5 medjool dates (pitted)
– 1 tbsp of Chia seeds
– 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
– 1 cup of ice cubes

Give this a try and see if you like it!

It is very creamy and a caramel sweetness from the dates. Drink this 3 times a week and see your skin difference in 2 weeks!”
